Job Title:Research Technician 3Department:Engineering | Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering

Performs basic or applied research in the area of AI/ML with applications to vehicle aerodynamics and aeroacoustics; act as first-level advisor to one or more students on their projects; train others in the group with newly developed AI/ML tools/procedures; prepares research results for publication in reports and papers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent educ/exp

Major: engineering

Additional Education Desired: Major: master's and PhD in aerospace engineering

Required:

Experience:

At least 2-3 years of experience with machine learning and data science for modeling and simulation of multi-scale systems; experience working and performing research in the area of vehicle aerodynamics

The target hiring range for this job profile is $17.10- $22.50. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
