Research Contract Manager, Research Innovation for Arrhythmia DiscoveriesMedicine - Tulane Research Innovation for Arrhythmia Discoveries (TRIAD)

Location: New Orleans, LA

Summary

Works with the Center Director and University personnel to negotiate and manage complex clinical trials and other research contracts of a Center within the Section of Cardiology, Deming Department in the School of Medicine.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus five years grants and contracts administration and/or clinical research administration experience in an academic research center;
  
  OR
  
• Masters' degree plus two years grants and contracts administration and/or clinical research administration experience in an academic research center.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a medical research environment
• Knowledge of FDA and other federal regulations related to human subject research
• Experience with contract review and negotiation.
• Master's degree (or equivalent experience) preferably in science, engineering, business, or law.
• Paralegal or legal background is a plus.
• Certified IRB Professional Certificate through PRIMR or Certified Research Contracting Professional through MAGI)
