NYC Salary Range - $47,360 - $50,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do
  • Utilize the service excellence model to provide a memorable member experience at each touchpoint.
  • Utilize the service excellence model to deepen connections with members to better understand their needs by asking effective questions, resolving inquiries and building relationships.
  • Utilize the service excellence model to become a trusted advisor to members by presenting the features and benefits of UNFCU's products and services that will best satisfy their current and future
  • Answer routine telephone calls as well as e-mail inquiries, web chat inquiries and written correspondence for UNFCU members; be a support for other departments within the organization.
  • Communicate effectively and provide appropriate information and responses to resolve issues and maintain loyalty. Investigate member account issues, determine action necessary to resolve the issue, and ensure that action is taken in a timely fashion and first contact resolution. Follow up to ensure that the issue is corrected, and keep members informed of the status of their issues.
What we're seeking
  • High School diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or state-issued high school equivalent certificate
  • Some college coursework preferred but not required
  • Minimum two years of experience in a call center customer service role
  • Computer proficiency with intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Fluency in Spanish or French highly desired
