RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a growing and established Technology Healthcare and Medical company seeking a Remote Director of Automation and Software Test Engineering. Summary:We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. The company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, annual bonus, and stock. This position is 100% remote. Will drive and define our platform testing and automation strategy. will be hands on in terms of not only defining our testing and automation strategy for the platform, but also planning implementations and making informed decisions around test automation frameworks for our applications. This is a wonderful opportunity to get in on the ground floor and have full freedom to set the testing and automation strategy of the company. In addition, Will also oversee manual testing and functional testing of our software and applications.Responsibilities of the Director of Automation and Software Test Engineering:
  • The Director of Automation and Software Test Engineering will work with our engineering staff and regulatory/ QA to define the goals and framework for platform testing automation.
  • 75% of software is cloud and web based/Microservices and 25% is Mobile and Desktop applications
  • Will oversee a small team
  • Director of Automation and Software Test Engineering develops and enforces a standard process for testing all releases that includes automation into the software build, test, and release process
  • Develop test scenarios and test scripts using industry standard design techniques
  • Improve or maintain the formal QA processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient, effective testing for both enhancement and regression testing
  • Design and create test strategies - creating test plans and test cases for individual product releases, with an eye to validating business requirements, operational needs and real-world consumer product usage


REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or another technical field
  • At least 5-7+ years of experience in leadership management positions focused on testing, test strategy, validation and automation
  • At least 8-12+years of QA Software Test experience
  • At least 5-7+years of Automation QA Software Test development experience
  • Strong experience in Automated web-based testing experience
  • Will consider various automation test tools experience
  • Experience in one of the following highly regulated industries: Healthcare insurance, clinical trials software, medical billing or general hospital software
  • Strong experience working with testing approaches and strategies for testing web-based microservices based platforms and architecture
  • Experience in creating testing strategies for desktop and mobile applications as a part of the ecosystem with complex integrations
  • Experience developing and implementing test frameworks from scratch
  • Working knowledge of Cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS is desired
  • Familiarity with Java, J2EE, Spring Technology stack is a preferred
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations is highly desired
  • Experience in HIPAA is a plus
  • Experience in small companies are a plus
