What you will do:
- The Lab Assistant will perform a variety of clerical, registration, cashier functions as well as laboratory phlebotomy procedures.
- Obtains registration information from patients and patient signatures as outlined according to procedure. Explains health care policies and procedures to patients.
- Obtains and interprets physician orders and diagnoses and performs the clerical functions related to ordering of ancillary services.
- Distribute laboratory reports and retrieve patient result. Maintains logs and records. Maintains inventory and orders supplies. Reconciles billing and works with outside vendor send outs including follow up with procedures.
What you will need:
- High school graduate required.
- Customer Service
- Healthcare experience preferred
