Full Time position scheduled 36 hours per week on the 12's nights with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Progressive Care unit

Progressive Care

In-patient, 26 bed unit with CHF, CAD, Pacers, Stents, Angioplasty, & Arrhythmia patients. Also, some general medicine.

Treatment Team consists of RNs, Patient Care Techs - all located on the unit.

Work closely with physical therapy to develop the best plan for the mobilization of our patients and to determine the best discharge plan.

Cardiac patients requiring continuous telemetry to monitor post cardiac procedures, pacemakers, arrhythmias requiring drug loads, CHF, non-stemi MIs and syncope. Occasionally, may overtake overflow patients with other diagnosis.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE

Requires current Michigan Nursing License

Graduation from accredited nursing program

New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years

New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hire
