Seeking a Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced 3NW General Medicine team! 3NW is a 34-bed, inpatient, acute care unit. The unit manages acute patients with a wide range of diagnoses that include all systems, such as endocrine, cardiac, pulmonary, GI, Renal, infectious diseases and/ or disorders. This is a great unit for newer and seasoned nurses alike to learn and grow in a supportive and team-oriented environment, to practice prioritization and multitasking skills, and to get exposure to many great nursing skills. Opportunity for advancement and certification in Med/Surg.
The level II Registered Nurse functions to protect promote and optimize health and abilities of those in their care. Works to prevent illness and injury, facilitate healing, and alleviate suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, groups, communities and populations. Executes their duties through clinical and professional practice standards. Nursing practices evolves over time as one gains experience and knowledge through clinical practice and ongoing learning.

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:

  • Required: BSN preferred, ADN will be considered
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
  • Specify Degree(s): Nursing

Minimum Experience:

  • Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.
  • Preferred:
  • Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA, and Current Registered Nurse License, State of Illinois
