REGIONAL RELIABILITY ENGINEER-VIR

Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering (RME) is hiring for Regional reliability Engineers!

Under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Reliability Engineering (hence forth referred to as Senior Manager), the role of the Regional Reliability Engineer (hence forth referred to as Regional RE) encompasses providing network reliability engineering support to large format buildings, throughout C&W NACF network. The Regional RE will provide guidance for deep diving performance metrics/data sets and driving program management standardization throughout C&W NACF network. With direction from Senior Manager, Regional RE will coordinate with the network-wide RE team to share best practices and drive process improvement. Act as Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), with comprehensive knowledge of process flow, repair procedures, technical specifications of MHE, and controls. Facilitate innovation process and build out technical services brand of C&W. Regional RE support format will be based on current site risk. Regional RE support will be allocated to those sites deemed "at risk". Determination will be deemed by Senior Manager. Anticipated travel expectations of the role 50-75% of the year.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure work performed is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience
  • Manage and develop PPM Analyst reporting into Regional RE
  • Audit sustaining sites Predictive Maintenance Programs and create solutions to close gaps
  • Provide launch support to new large format sites in areas of PdM, precision maintenance, IOQ, metadata audits, SOW creation, PM Optimization, equipment troubleshooting, planning and scheduling, and training.
  • Provide sustaining sites additional support during RE vacancy or during periods of poor performance
  • Coordination of network standardization initiatives with Senior Manager of Reliability Engineering
  • Support site innovation initiatives and facilitate training site REs in CR Procedures
  • Deep dive site metrics and create recovery paths for struggling sites in region
  • Develop and implement processes for driving network-wide improvement on critical KPI's
  • Provide training and supervision aimed at expanding the capabilities of the operations staff
  • Review PdM data collection methodologies and provide improvement criteria to optimize PdM data effectiveness
  • Provide support and guidance on maintaining an effective PdM program
  • Assist Senior Manager of Reliability Engineering onboard new REs into the network
  • Foster a culture of safety first within technical teams
  • Assist sites as necessary with developing solutions to improve the safety of equipment and processes.
  • Recommend and estimate facilities repairs and improvements for inclusion in the annual budget
  • Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 30 ft., with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years' experience on the Amazon account.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical/reliability engineering and maintenance
  • 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • Experience with systems engineering and operation, predictive maintenance technology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to lead others in a technical role and interact with all levels of management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil)
  • Completion of an applicable technical training program Possess mechanical and electrical aptitude, and have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or on a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and internet usage and navigation
  • Experience in mechanical/design engineering
  • Background in controls and PLC programming
  • CRL Certification or other Reliability Engineering Cert acceptable
  • Ultrasound Level 1 Certification
  • Vibration Analysis Level 1 and 2 Certification
  • Experience in SolidWorks

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $110,500.00 - $130,000.00
