The Regional Recruitment Coordinator, under direction, manages and provides leadership to the Region 2 (Temple College, McLennan College, Blinn College) area regional admissions counselors and enrollment related initiatives. Plans, supervises and implements receptions, public relations and recruitment events in assigned region. Assesses programs to determine effectiveness. Assesses and generates market approaches and evaluates potential student markets to achieve stated university recruitment goals. Develops, maintains, and collaborates with key influencers for recruitment efforts in assigned territory. Assists with development and assessment of admission counselors' individual territory recruitment goals. Represents University both on and off campus for assigned territory to prospective students, parents, staff and faculty to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals.

Regional assignment will primarily be within the Region 2 area. Duties of this position may report to Temple College, McLennan College, Blinn College, and Early College High Schools in the surrounding areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead Austin regional admissions counselors with enrollment related initiatives.

  • Represent University both on and off campus for assigned territory to prospective students, parents, staff and faculty to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals.

  • Recruit and enroll prospective students, parents, and counselors in assigned markets through meetings and admission presentations at school or community visits, programs, and events.

  • Assist with coordination and implementation of assigned recruiter's territory of high schools and/or community colleges. Establish and assess territory recruitment effectiveness.

  • Plan, supervise and implement receptions, public relations and recruitment events in assigned region.

  • Develop, maintain, and collaborate with key influencers for recruitment efforts in assigned territory..

  • Assist with providing enrollment reports for staff utilizing the CRM reporting software.

  • Coach, train, and coordinate staff development as needed.

  • Collaborate with campus departments to investigate and resolve complex applicant problems.

  • Maintain data and prepare reports on territory enrollment initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education - Bachelor's degree in applicable field.

  • Experience - Four years of related experience in recruitment.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Education - Master's degree.

  • Experience - Three years' of recruitment or relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of admissions policies and procedures, enrollment goals, university facts, knowledge of recruitment market, and proficient use of admissions and recruitment technology. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Ability to manage, multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding. Able to drive with a valid driver's license. Ability to learn and utilize customer relationship software.

  • Physical Requirements - Able to pick up 50 pounds box of materials.

Salary: $44,912

Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am to 5pm; night and weekends as needed.

Supervision of Others: This position will supervise regional staff in the assigned area.

Work Location: This position may require frequent travel for meetings and/or training. This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work on campus.
