Purpose of the Role:

Coordinate and direct all AMP production activities for the US, Mexico and Central America to meet budgeted goals. Develop and deploy cost savings initiatives to achieve savings beyond budget. Act as business process leader for systems development and deployment to optimize processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver or exceed annual budget for distribution costs to meet income and cash targets.
• Operationally direct local PC managers as dotted line reports to achieve or exceed budget goals in the scope of their related areas.
• Provide any necessary related support to plants. Onsite and offsite.
• Work closely with the commercial team to provide communication and support.
• Direct commercial export and import activities to grow global presence.
• Build cost models to ensure optimum distribution costs are achieved.
• Continually evaluate current processes modify, develop, and create to improve efficiencies to reduce costs.
• Support training and development of team members.

Requirements:

• Control the planning and scheduling multiple lines (approx. 35+).
• Commercial export and import experience.
• Manage activities in multiple facilities and countries. Collect, evaluate, and report on collected data.
• Build cost models. Exceptional organizational skills. Oral and written presentation skills.
• Systems: SAP, Microsoft Office
• Experience: Three to five years experiences in Production Control, preferred but not required plant experience.
• Logistics knowledge.
