Regional Enrollment & Admissions: The Regional Coordinator Veteran Services manages all aspects of the Office of Veterans Services at the Miami University Regionals with a primary focus on serving the needs of regional campus veterans, active military, and dependents. Serves as an advocate and resource person for these students. Promotes military-friendly climates and cultures at each location. Collaborates closely with University certifying officials, faculty, staff and administration.

The Regional Coordinator Veteran Services will assist veteran and military affiliated students with administrative processes and certifying processes; coordinate enrollment and retention services to meet the needs of veteran and military affiliated students; maintain relationships with Oxford and Regionals One Stop and Miami University's Official Certifying Official. Aid Miami University Certifying Official in Veteran and Military affiliated student certifications; collaborate with Enrollment Management and Student Success Offices to ensure appropriate communication and follow-up for veteran and military affiliated students; administer the Hamilton and Middletown Veterans Centers, their operations, and fiscal management. Collaborate with Oxford to appropriately work with VA student vet reps; provide ongoing communication and support to current veteran and military affiliated students; serves as a consultant or advisor to the Student Veterans Associations and assists in the planning and implementation of Memorial Day, Veterans Day and other appropriate commemorations.

Required: Bachelor's degree; veteran or active military status; experience working with military personnel or veterans; familiarity of the GI Bill and benefit programs for the military. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime and indefinite basis.

Consideration may be given to candidates with experience with federal or state compliance policies and procedures; experience in admission and financial aid offices; professional experience in higher education; strong written and communication skills.
