The purpose of this position is to drive value and uncover opportunities for a new Regulatory Compliance solution within LexisNexis. Your primary responsibility will be to bring in new business by prospecting into specific industry sectors and compliance departments. You will be responsible for driving new business sales, developing key relationships, and driving product value. The position can be based in NYC, Sacramento, or Dayton, with the chance to collaborate with leaders in each area. The continuous growth of our LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance solution will open up exciting opportunities with tremendous upside potential.

Core Accountabilities

Outputs and Agreed Method of Measurement

Drive new business revenue and market penetration.

Achievement of monthly new billings targets through Research and Sales

Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology

Collaboration with the Solutions Development Team, Marketing & Regional Managers in lead generation, and opportunity identification.

Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts to expand the penetration of LexisNexis Compliance Products and Solutions.

  • Ongoing client visits. Measure through NPS, and Account Reviews conducted with the customer by Segment Sales Manager and the Compliance Solutions Development Group.
Conduct a minimum of ten (10) customer visits per week to promote and demonstrate LexisNexis solutions
  • At any given time, a sales pipeline with a minimum of three times coverage of the monthly or quarterly sales revenue growth target.
  • Attainment of visit rate targets and renewal rate targets.
Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology
  • Accurate records of customer and prospective customer contact status in the LN CRM.

Education: Specialized/ Technical

Degree qualified.

Understanding of Legal and Regulatory compliance

Five (5) years relevant work experience - preferably in the Compliance solutions market.

Ability to write proposals and other communication to describe business requirements and proposed solutions.

Experience

Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in Sales within a prominent organization where structured sales and consultative selling approaches are used.

Demonstrated performance against sales objectives.

Experience and training in high-level account management and client relationship development.

High-level presentation skills (essential).

Ability to communicate/negotiate with staff at all levels within a law firm (essential).

Strong numeracy skills (essential).

Well-developed verbal communication skills (essential).

Solution selling experience is essential

Highly developed computer skills including Word, Excel, Database, etc.
