Recruiter/HR Administrator - Solar/Renewable Energy
Location: Remote (Durham, NC preferred)

We design, build, finance, own and operate projects across the US, Mexico and Asia. In this role you will assist with identifying talent across the US and Globally and assist with HR projects. You will have experience in supporting a fast-growing renewable energy company. You will build strong collaborative relationships with hiring leaders and department managers and become a trusted recruitment partner.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Recruiting Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes sourcing strategy while identifying top talent, independently and creatively source talent
  • Develops pipeline of both active and passive candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies
  • Conducts phone screens, manages interview process, and coordinates interview debriefs while providing a consultative value
  • Focuses on candidate experience while being highly responsive to both candidates and hiring managers
  • Develops expert-level knowledge of the applicant tracking system
  • Collaborate with internal client groups to understand their hiring needs
  • Maintain reporting metrics and generate reports
  • Work closely with internal recruiting team to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies to create appropriate candidate flow and pipeline to meet overall recruiting goals
HR Administrator Responsibilities
  • Maintain HRIS System
  • Implement the HR infrastructure to scale the company from internal benefits administration to employee retention to developing and delivering all necessary HR policies.
  • Review, interpret, administer and ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws (including, but not limited to, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, FFRCA, OSHA, Worker Compensation, etc.) and company policies and procedures.
  • Own the employee experience and provide day-to-day support to employees and leaders across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding/offboarding, employment policies, HRIS and benefits.
  • Support staff members with questions regarding benefits, systems, performance, company programs and policies.
  • Participate in creating SOPs
  • Assist with COVID-19 protocols
  • Maintain and verify employee records
  • Assist with performance management procedures
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience with full cycle recruiting/sourcing/HR Experience, Exceptional interviewing, communication, organizational and a passion for finding exceptional people
  • Experience with HRIS System
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience recruiting for technical and non-technical roles as well as senior leadership positions
  • Experience in Renewable energy is a plus
