General Job description:

Unload trucks and deliver raw materials to compounding, replenish production hoppers.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for personal safety and participating in plant safety process.
  • Enter data into SAP.
  • Must follow the quality management system policy and procedures.
  • Read production schedule to determine usage of raw materials.
  • Cycle count inventory.
  • Operate weighbridge.
  • Communicate production or quality issues to appropriate team members.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient work station.
  • Assist with line changeovers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning in area.
  • Operate lift truck, overhead crane, hoist.
  • Job rotation and relief of other team members.
  • Requirement to work both lines (LVT1 & LVT2) when/if needed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must have a High School or GED diploma.
  • Flexible for all shifts.
  • Computer efficient.
  • Quality experience desired.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Commitment to company values and safe work practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Nonessential Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in the operation of production line, machinery and monitoring products.
