MilliporeSigma is expanding in Rockville, MD and the Quality Assurance (QA) team is adding a Quality Specialist to their team.
The individual will perform a variety of tasks within the QA team including but not limited to: hosting client audits; conducting internal audits and/or supplier audits, review and approval of investigations; trend analysis for deviations; review and approval of quality agreements; providing support for clients' regulatory submissions; providing support for regulatory inspections; review and approval of various types of regulated documentation.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, etc.) or technical area (i.e. Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.)
- 2+ years' experience in Quality Assurance or related field within a GxP environment
- Proficient knowledge and application of FDA and EU regulations (cGMP, GLP, Data Integrity)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive solutions to quality issues
