JOB DESCRIPTION

** Opportunities on Day (1st), Evening (2nd), and Night (3rd) shifts **

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Quality Control Technicians at the Nudura Texas facility will be responsible for the operational execution of the Nudura quality plan. Quality Control Technicians will be expected to perform routine raw material and finished good testing in accordance with the procedure. These tests include but are not limited to raw material lot testing, plastic tensile testing, and EPS density testing. Additionally, Quality Control Technicians will be expected to achieve certification as forklift drivers and assist their Team Leader and Production Supervisor in their logistical support needs.

Quality Control Technician I is the entry point on the career path for Nudura Quality Control Technicians. After 90 days and the successful accomplishment of the criteria prescribed in the Nudura Texas Hourly Progression Plan, candidates will be eligible for promotion to Quality Control Technician II.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute Nudura's global manufacturing quality plan
• Perform appropriate finished and intermediate good product testing
• Perform raw material testing upon delivery and prior to first use
• In conjunction with the machine operator, escalate quality issues to the Team Lead, Production Supervisor, and Production Technician
• Escalate maintenance needs to assigned shift's Team Leader and maintenance personnel.
• Escalate and document safety concerns. Exercise stop-work authority.
• Support management with continuous improvement initiatives
• Obtain forklift certification. Move completed pallets to shipping as needed through the shift.
• Support the Team Leader with logistical aid as needed

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

EXPERIENCE:

Must have related experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Incumbent must be able to: Stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, kneel, speak, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
