Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Quality Control Chemist I will test raw materials, as well as in-process, manufactured, and packaged materials that are delivered to the Quality Control Lab.

• Work closely with department supervisors and senior analysts to ensure that departmental tasks, including required documentation, are completed accurately and on-time.
• Practice proper laboratory safety and waste disposal procedures.
• 2nd shift (Mon-Fri) 2pm-10:30pm

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or life science discipline
• 2+ years of experience using chemical analysis instruments such as FT-IR, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, pH

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of basic computer software
• Accurate documentation practices
• Perform daily functions with integrity and reliability
• Ability to work independently and take initiative to perform job functions
• Background in Stability
• Knowledge of compendial testing

• Understanding of Data Integrity practices
