The Stellantis Customer Audit (SCA) Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the Stellantis Customer Audit Center (SCA) at the Detroit Assembly Complex Mack Plant. The (SCA) Lead reports directly to the Product Audit Quality Manager. They lead a diverse team of salary and hourly Quality professionals integrating within the assembly plant and cross-functional team. They manage and lead the full scope of corporate customer product activities, resources, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure vehicle quality and customer action. The (SCA) Lead will be a leader within the Quality Organization and will be expected to plan and direct the execution of a strategic audit plan that will allow Stellantis to achieve best-in-class quality, a favorable industry reputation, and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Deliverables: Direct/manage product audit daily activities, tasks and initiatives. Develop and implement a successful business plan for SCA that supports corporate objectives, processes, and standards for product audit. Manage/Direct SCA union staff. Including; posting, qualifying/testing candidates, training, certification, scheduling, expense approval, and calibration operations. Monitor individual auditor results to identify individual training needs along with yearly calibration/certification of auditors (Includes: Hearing, Vision, and auditing performance). Provide first level review of audit conditions requiring clarification. Conduct daily electronic manual vehicle selection to assure mix is consistent with daily production build. Ensure documentation of conditions identified, with immediate issue owner identification and awareness. Manage all major aspects of vehicle auditing (i.e. SCA, CTVV & VLO when needed) and oversees data analysis for comparison to daily vehicle audits. Communicate results to SCA staff, Quality, and Plant Management. Work across functional organizations to drive cultural change throughout the organization. Establish quality and reliability standards for customer product audits and quality processes. Drive the plant to resolution of systemic/chronic or major quality issues (Top Warranty, Recalls, RRT, CSN). Support WCM Quality & Customer Safety Pillar by leading resolution of Quality issues. Maintain SCA data measurement collection and reporting systems. Ensure all equipment within the facility is calibrated and in working order. Deliver cars in conformity (SCA, TDF, CTVV and VLO must be within assigned targets). Work hand in hand with union team using complex data collecting equipment: (Hunter, Door Closing Effort Tools, Cabin Pressure Equipment, Head Light Aim, RF proximity tools, and various electronic devices and how they interact with the vehicle). Provide expert technical leadership in coordinating and directing cross functional teams with the goal of achieving improved quality. Manage documentation / boards to demonstrate value generated by the Vehicle Center / CCTV Develop and execute internal audit and layered audit programs to ensure compliance to quality standards and procedures. Ensure standards are followed for testing, audits, reporting, and calibration of equipment. Provide clear direction to skilled and non-skilled trades in the operation of product testing and evaluation to generate necessary quality test data. Develop new testing standards targeted at identifying potential customer complaints. Protect product design intent and function while assisting with identification and solutions of manufacturing constraints. Deliver statistical analysis of data on competition, customer direction, product performance and perception of the customer to the manufacturing team members. Utilize advanced problem solving expertise to correct unfavorable variances and communicate alternative measures to mitigate engineering, timing and/or financial issues. Empowered (hold authority) to cease and commence product related activities in relation to quality related issues. Manage engineering changes working with cross-functional team to ensure timely execution. Direct supervision of the unionized hourly personnel at the assembly plant.
