Description:
The Judge Group is currently searching for a QA Supervisor/Specialist for a client's manufacturing facility in the Normal, IL area.
Responsibilities:
*Manage all aspects of QA to ensure all raw materials and product meet company and government standards
*Confirm the performance of testing and inspection on products and packaging quality assurance program
*Responsible for the implementation of the company's quality assurance programs and improvement
*Develop, review and audit SOPs
*Monitor raw materials & recommend waste reduction actions
*Ensure sanitation standards are followed
*Evaluate process control and improvements
*Provide guidance to Lab and QA Techs
*Maintain accurate department reports
*Sustain a safe working environment for all employee
Requirements:
*BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university required
*3+ years of QA experience required
*Food/beverage manufacturing experience REQUIRED
*HACCP and SQF certifications required
