Quality Assurance/ControlBCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance/Control at San Diego CATitle: Quality Assurance/ControlExpected contract duration: 24+Months with possible extension or permanentLocation: San Diego CAJob Description:

• Establishing and producing quality plans
• Control of all quality department related records
• Control and coordinate inspection and test activities in test areas
• Control and review of test area documentation according to the company requirements
• Liaising directly with engineering, management and document control to implement QMS
• Controlling inspection release and materials rejection
• Control and coordinate training plans and ensure all supporting records are up-to-date
• Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities in the test areas
• Implement Company Quality Manual, project specific Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plans
• Assist with conducting quality audits, identifying, documenting, and providing solutions for Non-Conformances, Corrective & Preventive Actions
• Monitor material receiving and document control activities
• Provide new projects with quality realization plans
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the business development manager

Required Experience:

• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good presentation skills.
• Strong aptitude
• Lean Methodology and experience a plus
• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience preferred
• Experience: ISO9001 or Quality Management System Experience preferred
