Job Description

We are looking for a Python Developer to help us continue to produce top-tier applications. This will be a full-time and remote opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-performance APIs using Flask and Python 3.10
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  
• Ensure the robustness, performance, and failure characteristics of the system
  
• Maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automatization
  
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  
• Implement effective security and data protection measures within the API framework
  
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  
• Provide technical support for API products, including troubleshooting and resolving issues
  
• Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest API development technologies and best practices
  
• Data analytics experience is preferred to assist with data-driven decision-making processes
  

What You'll Need

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role is required
  
• Proven software development experience with a focus on Python and API development
  
• Proficiency in Flask or similar micro web framework
  
• In-depth knowledge of Python and its new features
  
• Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices
  
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus
  
• Experience with data analytics and related tools is preferred
  
• Understanding of database systems, ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) frameworks, and data storage solutions
  
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment remotely
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
  

Preferred

• Knowledge of cloud services and APIs provided by AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
  
• Knowledge of advanced data structures and algorithms
  
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI/ML) integration
  
• Understanding of performance tuning, usability, and accessibility
  
• Additional certifications or courses related to Python programming, API development, or data analytics

Physical Demands
