Below is a list of your responsibilities as a Psychometrist with Corizon Health:

• Administers, scores and interprets intelligence, aptitude, achievement and other psychological tests to provide test information to clinical staff
• Gives paper and pencil tests or administers tests utilizing computers or other testing equipment under standard conditions
• Times tests and records test results
• Interprets tests in light of standard norms and limitations of tests in terms of validity and reliability
• Participate in the Quality Improvement processes, including data collection and tracking
• Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with other mental health service staff, institutional staff, Corizon administrative and medical personnel, inmates and outside agencies
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner
• Participates in clinical supervision, treatment team meetings, staff meetings, in-service training programs and outside training programs as required by Corizon or licensure
• Inform the Director/Supervisor of the need for additional clinical supervision to understand scope of service, overall problems in delivery of mental health treatment services, resources needed to perform duties, and other employee concerns
• Adhere to employee standards of Corizon, including the maintenance of a working environment and personal appearance consistent with professional responsibilities, development of harmonious working relationships, and timely notification of absences
• Adhere to the facilities standards, policies and procedures
• Perform duties as assigned by the Director/Supervisor

• College degree in psychology, counseling or related mental health field
• Required to exert up to 50 pounds of force and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body.
• Required to kneel, stoop, crouch and/or crawl occasionally.
• Must have and maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental and emotional) situations encountered on the job without compromising your health and well-being or that of your fellow employees or that of inmates.
• Long periods sitting, typing and reading from a computer screen may be required.

A background check, security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.
