The admissions coordinator facilitates patient admissions to inpatient psychiatry, inpatient detoxification, partial hospital programs, and ambulatory Addiction Recovery services. Responsible for phone contacts with patients seeking admission and with referring providers. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, colleagues and insurance providers to facilitate admissions in a timely manner. Able to work independently and manage a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in social work, psychology or mental health counseling preferred but not required
  • License preferred but not required
