We are looking for a fun, passionate, individual who enjoys teaching International Dance moves to seniors while exploring their creativeness. Guide seniors on how to connect body to the music and improve one’s coordination.
- Prepares and conducts classes
- Coordinates the curriculum, schedule, instruction, supervision of classes
· Teaching seniors International Dance which includes five standard and five Latin dances. Exploring the benefits of standard, Latin and social dances.
- Adhere to organization’s standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including – but not limited to – Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.
- Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
- Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
- Degree or Diploma in professional dance; or 3 years’ experience teaching dance
· Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses
· Ability to use one’s initiative
· Excellent communication and listening skills
· Excellent customer service skills with a focus on treating clients with respect and dignity
· Able to multi-task and work with groups with a great attention to detail
