Hays Commercial Property have partnered with a highly successful real estate investment and development firm, who are looking to hire a Property Accountant to support the groups portfolio of class A office assets. This is an exciting opening for qualified candidates who are looking to join a well-established commercial real estate development group, who are continuing to grow their portfolio.

Your new role
As the Property Accountant you will work directly with the Property Managers and Senior Accountant in the day to day financial accounting across a portfolio of Class A office properties. Duties will include preparing monthly and quarterly closes, journal entries, tax returns, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, calculate monthly management fees for each asset, CAM reconciliations, and support the creation of property budgets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the groups existing portfolio, as well as new developments currently under construction.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of two years work experience with real estate AP/AR.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Experience with Yardi a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage your schedule in order to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work effectively across departments.
