Project Engineer

Job Description:

Braun Intertec, a leader in the engineering and environmental consulting field, is seeking a Project or Senior Engineer at our Lexexa, KS location. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects by providing all managerial and technical expertise required to exceed client expectations. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
• Leadership of a technical or project related team
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
• Develop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions
• Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
• Monitor budgets and assists in collections

• Fundamental understanding of geology and geologic stability and performance mechanisms
• Experience with finite element/slope stability software preferred
• Experience with identification and mitigation of geologic hazards preferred

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical or geological engineering
• MS degree in geotechnical or geological engineering preferred
• Five or more years experience
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in IA, or ability to attain within 6 months
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
