PROJECT MANAGER - RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA

The Select Groups' TOP client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This person can sit 100% remote but must work east coast hours. This person will be supporting development teams with software releases for a product called, Compass. Compass provides analytics on TAC data, TAC usage & cases for a customer. It evaluates the customers technical skills, their hardware and software environment, and provides a score (smart net total care score), it generates an output report of analytics to the customer or the account team so they can use it to leverage renewals

PROJECT MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-4 years of Agile Project Management Experience
    • Project planning and scheduling experience
  • Scrum Certified (any level)
    • Experience leading scrum sessions and discussing feature sets
  • Jira and confluence Experience
  • Software dev project experience
  • Project experience HIGHLY preferred w/ any of the following technologies:
    • AWS
    • Snowflake
    • Tableau
  • MUST HAVE A GREAT PERSONALITY AND COMMUNICAION SKILLS
    • Will be working with multiple teams (dev teams, account teams, cisco leadership, etc)

PROJECT MANAGER NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
  • PMP Certification

PROJECT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Technical Project Manager is responsible for providing project planning and management for established product initiatives. They ensure that projects are planned, executed, and completed to specification, within an established time frame and budget. A Technical Project Manager is an Agile/Scrum subject matter expert within the company regarding the technology concerns related to a specific product. They use their industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management, people coordination, and planning with the Product Owner and Product Operations Manager.
  • The Technical Project Manager for the team will plan, schedule, monitor, evaluate and direct initiatives and roadmap items, ensuring they meet established time, cost and technical objectives. The Technical Project Manager develops and manages the project's change control procedures and effectively utilizes all available methodologies and tools, culminating in client acceptance of results. The Project Manager conducts project progress reviews with the internal customer and account team personnel, providing contingency and problem resolution plans as required.
