ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Project Manager supports the Director of Operations with both regional/national projects. In this role the Project Manager will lead projects across the BI, EHB and PCS business lines working with department leads and others to guarantee a successful on time outcome. These projects are crucial to creating better alignment, efficiencies, and essential best practices.

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Coordinate and prioritize project tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved on schedule.
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources.
  • Provide support to the project team, including assisting with goals and deliverables.
  • Perform queries (report system & Excel) and data analysis to determine issues, draw conclusions, problem solve and make recommendations.
  • Generate reports for data clean-up, quality control, data health check and data metrics.
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Supports operational reporting changes/needs for field.
  • Compile, organize and assess operational data.
  • Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Five years of relevant insurance industry work experience preferred.
  • Appropriate, current insurance license as applicable preferred.
  • Must have excellent analytical skills, as well as superior database skills
  • AMS 360 experience a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
