SUMMARY:
The Project Manager oversees key company projects from initiation to close, making sure the project work gets done efficiently and satisfactorily. The Project Manager manages key client projects and relationships. The Project Manager oversees all aspects of the projects; sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors overall progress, providing leadership with periodic updates on project status.

What You Will Do:
- Adhere to Vector Security quality standards, policies, safety procedures and best practices.
- Coordination and completion of projects on-time, within scope and within budget
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress. Maintain project documentation throughout project.
- Gather all information, submit applications to required municipalities and AHJ's for required permits
- Meet periodically with project team members to identify and resolve any issues
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party subcontractors for execution of multiple projects
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors/subcontractors
- Assist the sales team as needed on pre-sale job walks, system design, equipment configuration, and labor estimation
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Work with internal stakeholders and external clients, setting and managing client expectations, developing a detailed project plan, defining the scope of the project, and assigning team members to specific tasks.
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation - both internal team members and subcontractors. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Orders drop off and pick up for lift if one is required on the project
- Works with install Coordinator to have them build the job and order equipment. Keep Install Coordinator abreast on project timelines, especially for equipment ordering.
- Negotiate Subcontractor labor pricing on projects
- Delegate project tasks based on team members individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
- Provide advanced technical support and program troubleshooting for Install/Service Techs as needed
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and required closeout documentation
- Ensure successful system implementation, training, and project turnover to the client.
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- 5 + years working with burglar, fire, access control, and CCTV systems.
- Team management or supervision
- Excellent Communication Skills, written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Permitting and Inspection process knowledge.
