Position Information: Description
The Project Manager position for the Northern Plains UAS Test Site (NPUASTS) will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. This individual will act as a principal investigator and managing projects and initiatives as defined by the Executed Director and/or the Director of Research and Development. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and defining project scope, project budget creation and evaluation, participating in field project activities, overseeing/participating in data collection efforts, creating charts, schedules, documents, reports, and insuring deliverables are met by project deadlines.
This position is key to presenting the image of the NPUASTS. Public relation skills are necessary and the ability to interact with people at all levels is required. Travel may be required and non-standard week hours occasionally may occur. In addition, motivation, confidence, high attention to detail, and the ability to be a self-starter are critical components to meet the demands of this position.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesExport Control Compliance: This position requires compliance with U.S. government export control laws and regulations. Work Schedule/Start Date40 hours a week, occasional non-standard week hours and travel required.
