What We're Looking For

BargeDesign Solutions is currently seeking a Project Manager for civil site/landdevelopment projects in the Site Solutions business unit in our Knoxville, TNlocation.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Businessdevelopment and project management including developing proposals, providingproject design, negotiating contracts, and attending meetings during all phasesof the project.

• Developscontracts including subcontracts to comply with Barge terms. 

• Preparescomprehensive Project Management Plans and tracks project budgets, contracts,billing, and schedules.

• EnsuresQuality Program implementation and execution. 

• Reviewsproject reports and findings. Makes modifications to project as needed. 

• Createsconceptual site plans and designs, provides technical engineering guidance, andresolves project problems, challenges, and obstacles. 

• Acts asprimary agent between client and project team developing the project scope andproposals, coordinating events, leading client meetings & internal projectmeetings, and delivery of final project to client. 

• On occasionmay function as an engineering technical lead on projects. 

• Meetsprofitability goals in support of Barge's business and strategic plan

• Mentorsothers and builds employee capabilities

• Developsand maintains positive relationships with clients, customers, officials,contractors, and others. 

• Sets andexample of our core values in daily actions and promotes a positive workplaceculture

• Performsother duties as requested. 

 

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor'sdegree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
• Minimum of10 years' experience with civil site/land development/project management
• PEregistration  
• Strongdesign and technical credibility
• Excellentoral, written and graphical communication skills
• Ability toeffectively manage concurrent projects and deadlines
• Strongteambuilding and collaboration skills
