A Pharmaceutical Company is seeking a Project Manager-Application Development in Princeton, NJ.

Role Description

This role will be responsible for providing program management leadership and support to our Patient Operations Systems & Integration (POSI) Team on both GPS & APEX systems. This team is responsible for ensuring that the systems used by the Patient Operations organization meet the team's needs. As new features and functionality are required to support our growing and evolving operations, we will prioritize the development of new features (and maintenance of existing functionality) to meet business timelines.

This role requires technical knowledge of software development in GxP environment, familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies, tactical skills to support system releases, ability to assess and mitigate risks, and strong ability to navigate and negotiate timelines with different personality styles.

In addition to project managing system releases, this role also organizes and updates all our tools and dashboards (including but not limited to: JIRA, Tableau, SmartSheet, SharePoint). It also participates in our translations workstream to translate our customer-facing portals to different languages, as we launch our products across the world.

Technical Project Management (60%)
• Work with our IT Project Manager to align on system release timelines; able to negotiate on behalf of POSI on the duration of tasks and due dates
• Create detailed project timelines and track all major activities during a system release. Own and drive some workstreams, including: Change Control, Training, Document Updates, Stakeholder Communications
• Effectively synthesize information and accurately filter them to the right audience; ability to communicate based on the listener's preferences
• Proactively assess unexpected risks and use critical thinking to problem solve, ultimately to deliver intended results and meet deadlines
• Support SMEs during system release cycle to manage stakeholders' expectations and their understanding/needs of the changes
• Provide strong facilitation skills to optimize meetings and support the Product Management team in effective decision making and priorities within the group

Tools & Dashboard Management (30%)
• In between system releases, update our tools and dashboards to display information in an accurate and digestible way (e.g. JIRA, Tableau, SmartSheet, SharePoint)

Process Improvement (10%)
• Use critical thinking and take strong initiative in proposing process improvement ideas and drive them from ideation to completion
• Able to identify business gaps and suggest tangible solutions to address them
• Take strong ownership in team's success and efficiency

Skills & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a successful Project Manager using structured project management processes with track record of delivering projects on time
• Must have experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Must have experience working with multi-platform system in a GMP environment
• Strong self-starter mentality and ability to self-direct in a highly complex and ambiguous environment
• Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills; understand how to tailor communication skills based on listener
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to tactfully say no to different personality types
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
• Ability to follow through or communicate when deadline will be missed
• Willingness to work with different time zones and cross-functional groups
• Willingness to receiving and providing honest feedback
