Project Engineer - Water

What We're Looking For:
This Project Engineer position is available in our Water Business Unit in our Nashville, TN office location and will support engineering projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic (H/H) modeling and stormwater design, document development and design, and perform other related tasks. In addition, this position will work small projects with some complex features or portions of larger projects.
Responsibilities / Expectations:
-Prepares H/H models and cost estimates for assigned projects.
-Leads tasks that support the overall project design.
-Analyzes & interprets data.
-Analyzes, writes, and may review specifications, documents, drawings, from a variety of sources to produce various deliverables for projects.
-Assists in client communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
-Performs other duties as requested.
-Timeliness & Quality of work and budget adherence.
-Utilization rates align with goal.
-This role may have individual sales goals for specific clients and/or primarily single discipline opportunities.
-Develop and implement a plan to meet this sales goal.

Education & Experience Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree from accredited program.
-Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience.
-Registered PE.
-Applies practical knowledge through progressive experience to resolve issues.
-Strong working knowledge of HEC-RAS and SWMM-based software, and other essential software for field and office work.
-Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/GEOPAK is a plus.
