Psychology: Project Coordinator to work full-time on a study funded by the National Institute for Mental Health in the Behavior, Emotions, and Relationships laboratory. This is a one-year appointment and will require a commitment through the end of June 2023. Position is renewable contingent on performance and funding. This position will be located in Oxford, Ohio and will require some reimbursable travel within Butler and Hamilton Counties, Ohio. The project examines anxiety and psychophysiological/biological mechanisms of transmission in mothers and their infants. The project coordinator will work under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Kiel, faculty member in the Psychology Department and the Principal Investigator of the grant.

Duties will include and are not limited to assisting with participant recruitment and retention; entering and maintaining data in a database; assisting faculty with IRB submissions, modifications, renewals, and final reports; collecting behavioral, survey, and psychophysiological/biological data with mother-infant participants; assisting faculty with evaluating data and preparing reports, and coding video-recorded behavioral data.

Required: Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a closely related field by date of appointment; experience with psychological or medical research and experience working with children; basic computer skills. Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.

Consideration may be given to candidates with experience with Microsoft Office suite, Qualtrics, and SPSS; experience with psychophysiological data collection, experience working with infants. Be very detail-oriented; have excellent oral and written communication skills; have the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting on multiple tasks; and be comfortable with multidisciplinary teams and diverse populations.
