Summary:
Assists with administrative and managerial direction of a variety of projects; performs duties in support of managerial staff related to the events and projects for the Courage of Carly Fund.

This is a part-time position which requires 15-20 hours per week; Mon.-Fri. Additional hours outside of normal work hours related to Courage of Carly program events are to be expected and will include, but are not limited to, early mornings, nights and weekends, with the flexibility to work a schedule around such events.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in the functional area of assignment; or
• Associate's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in the functional area of assignment.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have a Associate's degree and/or actively enrolled in college courses with two (2) years of related experience. The preferred candidate should have 1-3 years of program/event coordination experience. In addition, the preferred candidate should have the ability to interface with adults and children ranging in age from newborns to young adults and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
