Job Title: Program Lead, Global Trade Operations

Location: Bellevue,WA

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee customs compliance and clearance of imports and exports in U.S. and Canada
  • Validate and maintain trade data for U.S., Canada, and other countries as necessary in accordance with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), CBP's Informed Compliance Publications, CBSA's D-Memos, EAR, and other compliance guidance in automated and manual resources
  • Classify diverse commodities in technology industry across all lines of product development and commercial environments (ECCN and HTS)
  • Monitor ISF and customs entry audit programs to ensure requirements and SLAs are met for all U.S. and Canada customs brokers
  • Review and validate post-entry amendments with customs brokers
  • Identify compliance risk and operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, logistics service providers, and customs brokers on trade compliance issues
  • Manage trade support desk/inbox by addressing inquiries on trade matters from internal and external stakeholders
  • Navigate SAP ECC/GTS to troubleshoot system issues and identify root causes
  • Perform a variety of trade compliance related duties and support special projects as necessary
  • Oversee general department administration including maintaining databases, communications, and documents for recordkeeping purposes
  • Lead a team of 5-7 onshore and offshore Trade compliance analysts.
Required Skills:

• Customs Broker License required

• Bachelor's Degree is required

• Minimum of 5 years in customs brokerage and/or international tradecompliance experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to consistently balance multiple priorities whilemaintaining attention to detail

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Solid communication and customer service skills

• Self-motivated, inquisitive, and able to work independently

Preferred Skills:

• Abilityto be efficient and meet random deadlines while maintaining completeness andaccuracy.

• Abilityto learn, comprehend, and apply regulatory requirements

• Experiencein international supply chain

• Experiencewith SAP ECC/GTS

Minimum education qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
