Job Description:

Greif has an immediate need for a Converting Supervisor at our Louisville, KY, Facility. This position reports to the Plant Superintendent and has responsibility for the direction of production employees across converting crews. In addition to daily operational responsibilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining systems, driving manufacturing improvements, covering vacations as well as leading, coaching, motivating, and engaging the work teams to accomplish operational objectives.

This facility manufactures bulk corrugated packaging productsfor local and national customers and operates on a 24/7 production schedule.We are looking for a motivated individual who can perform multiple supervisory functions in a flexible, fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires supervisors who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality, productivity, and engagement of crew members.We are committed In Industrial Packaging to be the Best Performing Customer Service Company in the World.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in the packaging industry including experience with high speed converting equipment or press and bulk operations
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
• Experience in the corrugated or converting industry required
• Ability to work any shift is required.
• Preferred candidates would also have experience in the manufacturing of bulk boxes
• Proven leadership experience in a Represented Facility.
