Basic Job Functions:

The Production Supervisor at Skyline Steel LLC, Cartersville, GA will supervise the production teams in the Threaded Bar, Shipping and Receiving, and Fabrication departments and will be responsible for ensuring operational safety, quality, and commercial excellence. The Production Supervisor will also maintain strong relationships with Skyline Sales representatives and Sales Service teams to ensure we are taking care of our customers. The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement in all departments, foster teamwork, manage department finances, coach the team, and develop culture supporting the Nucor initiatives of safety, profitability, and team development. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety practices, policies, procedure, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five years industrial manufacturing experience
• 2 years in leadership role

Preferred Qualifications:

• Leadership experience in manufacturing
• Steel product manufacturing and sales knowledge
• ERP experience
• Steel fabrication
• Experience evaluating and documenting process efficiency
• Experience with ISO quality management system
• Industrial scheduling experience
