Location: Allentown, PA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Production Supervisor in the Allentown, PA area for a Major Metal Manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the shop team in meeting production goals and quality standards, following company policies, customer needs, and regulations.
• Supervise daily operations, work schedules, and resource allocation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and equipment problems to minimize downtime.
• Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operation.
• Conduct quality inspections of fabricated rebar for accuracy and proper tagging.
• Participate in employee evaluations to recommend appropriate compensation.
• Operate various shop equipment like shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, etc., to ensure efficient project completion.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 a plus) highly preferred but not required
• At least 5 years of experience in a rebar shop, manufacturing setting, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate all shop equipment safely and efficiently.
