Position Summary:
This role will be comprised of two components. Planning will be the primary responsibility with Customer Service Specialist as secondary. Oversees and organizes data to increase efficiency of OEM and repair work. Creates reports aligning customer demand with operational requirements ensuring we meet customer, Supply Chain and Operations targets / goals. This position will work with Account Representatives supporting customer quotes and will be the primary contact for OEM customers managing customer schedules and shipments.

Primary Planning Position Responsibilities:

• Acts proactively to always support safety. Safety is ALWAYS first.
• Identifies/develops MRP tools needed to help align Supply Chain and Ops with Customer requirements.
• Ensures inventory and WIP meet customer OTD.
• Manage supply & demand assuring optimal inventory, productive factory workflow & best value for Airtomic.
• Work with internal/external customers to clarify and resolve issues.
• Improve operational efficiencies.
• Develops a technical understanding of the Airtomic products.

Secondary Customer Service Responsibilities:

• Acts as a representative for assigned customers.
• Communicate technical information to the customer.
• Provide clear, timely responses and detailed quotations to the assigned customer base.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Results Oriented

• Materials and WIP are organized to meet OTD and inventory targets.
• Quotations are completed on time.

Required qualification / Education / and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Detail orientated and organized.
• Minimum 3 years in an industry environment focusing on planning/scheduling ops/multi-layered projects.
• Strong background/focus on data analysis/report development (Excel, Pivot Tables, Microsoft Queries, Power BI)
• Must be multi-task/project oriented, ability to meet goals under pressure in fast-paced industry.
• Excellent verbal, writing, listening, and interpersonal skills interacting levels of internal and external customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking.
• Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision
  
  

Beneficial Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• OEM or Overhaul Engine planning experience.
• MRP knowledge
• Planning / Scheduling in a high mix production environment
• Data analysis tools: SQL, Statistical programming,
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

• None

Relationships:

• Reports to Operations Manager
• Daily interaction with customers
• Daily interaction with internal departments
• Works closely with Operations Supervisor and Supply Chain (Manager and buyer)
• Works closely with Account Reps and Product Manager

Travel Requirements:

• Up to 10% travel
