Overview / Responsibilities

Looking for somewhere to plant your roots? Wood is currently searching for a Production Optimization Supervisor to join our team in Evanston, Wyoming. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and much more.

This position will f acilitate in the day-to-day operations with lease operator staff.

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to perform Lease Operator duties including taking readings, doing rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, initiating work requests, writing procedures, and interfacing with support groups.
• Assign and supervise work crews operating equipment for multiple routes;
• Analyze production related problems and work with any other relative personnel to troubleshoot;
• Provide relief operations as needed;
• Track gas measurement variances daily;
• Ensure a safe and productive operation through proper implementation and administration of company policies and procedures;
• Provide information to client, co-workers and subordinates as needed by telephone, in writing, or verbally in person;
• Analyze production targets and adjust as needed;
• Ensure lease locations and field offices are clean and organized;
• Make routine checks on all well sites;
• Monitor production equipment, compressors, wells, and meters;
• Participate in periodic well review meetings with appropriate personnel;
• Inspect lease sites, ensure they are clean and maintained; check for spills and fluid leaks;
• Always were appropriate PPE (FRC, hard hat, steel toed shoes/boots, safety glasses and hearing protection
• Always wear gas detection monitors and check for gas prior to entering any hut or building
• Drive appropriately for the conditions, always wear seat belt, do not use phones in any way while operating a vehicle
• Follow lock-out/tag-out procedures when opening any piping or working on equipment including electronics
• Complete a JSA daily and for any new tasks

Skills/ Qualifications:

• At least 5 years' experience as a lease operator
• Ability to manage, lead and train personnel
• Ability to understand gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
• Able to learn company specific applications
• Must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
