Job Description Summary:
We're looking for a world-class strategic thinker to join our Consumer Financial Services team. You will be working closely with leaders across Venmo to understand the nuances of our consumer-facing products, determine how we can build a more robust ecosystem of products for our customers, and ultimately execute/build a more robust platform.

Meet our team:

Venmo is a small yet mighty team at PayPal and we're excited to bring excellent people on board to help us build exciting new features and concepts for our nearly 90 million consumers. With this roll, you'll be joining the Venmo Commercial Team. The Commercial Team is responsible for setting the priorities across the Venmo organization while seeking input from our various stakeholders. Further, the Commercial Team is ultimately accountable for our Profit & Loss statement - ensuring Venmo is meeting our business objectives.

Your day to day:

You will be working closely with leaders across Venmo to understand the nuances of our consumer-facing products, determine how we can build a more robust ecosystem of products for our customers, and ultimately execute/build a more robust platform.

What do you need to bring:

  • Strategic thinking - full of ideas on how we can build the Venmo of the future.
  • Analytical mind - a love of numbers. While this is not a data job, fluency in Excel, building business cases, and an ability to clearly communicate analytical trends to executives is critical.
  • Collaborative nature - willingness to work with teams to deliver against shared objectives.
  • Highly flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
  • Experience with consumer financial services - any experience with the vast array of products (debit card, credit card, savings account, etc.) /strategies/ecosystems within this domain.
