Job Summary

We are looking for a well-rounded, fast learner to join our team of Product Specialists. A successful Product Specialist will be able to bridge the gap between technical skills and financial industry knowledge to deliver successful software implementations for our clients. You will work closely with the rest of the Product Specialist team, other internal teams, and with clients as your knowledge and product experience grows. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn new skills and technology, as well as focused on the client experience - helping our clients achieve the best possible outcomes for their business.This position can currently be worked remotely from any US city where we have an office: Chicago, San Diego, Miami, New York City, or Boston area.

Responsibilities

  • Configure the product to meet business requirements
  • Understand the clients' business need related to customizations
  • Understand the functional impact of various configuration options and offer recommendations on different proposed designs
  • Collaborate with internal team: Business Analysts, Technical Solutions, QA, Product
  • Provide product demonstrations as needed (both internally and externally)
  • Assist with client user Training
  • Identify new market opportunities and communicate this information to the Product team
  • Build product knowledge through training, self-directed research / testing, and working with senior team members
Requirements

  • Excellent problem solving abilities and teamwork skills
  • A well-rounded personality - detail oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Enthusiasm for technology and finance, including a desire to learn new skills and technology platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), especially related to listening and soliciting feedback
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Proficient in SQL / MS SQL (queries, joins, selects, etc)
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can successfully manage multiple competing priorities
  • Previous project management, implementation, business analysis, or system delivery experience with external facing clients for projects of a material size and duration
  • Experience or familiarity with middle office compliance (and the software used in this space)
  • Some experience around financial software / trading technology / trading systems / OMS (preferred)
Education/Certifications

A degree from a 4 year university (preferred)
