ADP is seeking a Manager, Product Marketing, to drive product marketing strategies and activities that support our industry-leading workforce management capabilities that span time and attendance management, employee scheduling and more. The successful candidate will be an energetic, results-oriented professional with the right combination of marketing experience and domain knowledge to help propel sales of ADP workforce management.

This position is part of the Growth Marketing team which includes Product Marketing, Business Unit Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, Analyst Relations, Market Insights, Pricing Strategy, and Pre-Sale Product Experience. The team's areas of focus are:

The Manager, Product Marketing will work closely with a cross-functional team across Product Management and Development, Business Unit Marketing, Sales, Service and Operations to craft and execute go-to-market plans, product launches and marketing programs. The role will also collaborate with our Market Insights, Competitive Intelligence and Analyst Relations teams to develop a unique market perspective and craft relevant, differentiated product positioning and messaging for our unique and compelling solutions. This person also plays a key role as an expert on our workforce management products and communicating them to various internal and external audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage strategic and tactical product marketing activities to drive awareness and demand of ADP's workforce management solutions
  • Lead projects with complexity and significant impact on the business
  • Deliver positioning, differentiated messaging and buyer journey experiences that equip the sales team to win new business and expand client relationships
  • Work closely with the Brand, Business Unit Marketing, and event teams to execute and track thought leadership and demand generation programs
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing counterparts to help drive the attach rate of workforce management product to new sales, and the sales of workforce management products to the existing client base
  • Build and orchestrate go-to-market strategies for new product launches
  • Act as a link between Product Management, Business Unit Marketing and Corporate Marketing to ensure adequate marketing plans, launch plans and communications are created and followed for successful go-to-market
  • Anticipate market needs by understanding trends and regulatory issues
  • Serve as a trusted resource to explain workforce management to internal and external audiences
  • Provide an outside-in view of the human capital management (HCM) category and its buyers, and infuse that voice of the customer into deliverables
  • Incorporate competitive awareness/differentiation, market sizing and other intelligence to inform strategies and content
  • Work with Analyst Relations team on evaluations and briefings in support of ADP workforce management
  • Communicate ongoing innovations through key product news, milestones and road map presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Collaborate on product demo strategies and messaging; be able to demo the workforce management offerings to internal and external audiences
  • Maintain accurate measurement and metrics on product marketing asset utilization and effectiveness
  • Create marketing and sales assets including brochures, fact sheets, videos, presentations and thought leadership content
  • Participate in pricing and bundling strategy development, and help to evaluate its effectiveness
  • Be the advocate for social media activity, digital marketing and website optimization for your products

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B tech marketing experience with, 3 years in product marketing and related roles
  • Knowledge and experience in technology and Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Experience in working with and empowering sales teams
  • Technology product messaging and launch experience with proven results

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Knowledge and experience in workforce management offerings and Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • Experience working within large businesses

  • Exceptional business acumen with the ability to uncover an understanding of clients' and prospects' most critical business needs and demonstrate how ADP's capabilities can drive business value
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the ability to succeed within a matrixed organizational environment
  • Desire to communicate present to external audiences via webinars, and the ability to write and present on the business challenges that clients face, and the solutions that can solve these business problems
