The Lineage Customer Experience Platform is a critical part of our ongoing strategy to create a One Lineage unified experience for all cold chain participants. We are growing our product team by adding a Logistics and Scheduling Product Manager, reporting to the Sr Product Manager for the platform program. Together with a product team of business analysts and technical analysts, the Product Manager is responsible for defining and driving the vision for Lineage's supply chain visibility, collaboration, and logistics platform features. Stakeholders of the product include not only Lineage facility teammates who use the product day-to-day for scheduling but also customers, drivers, carriers and brokers in our warehousing and transportation network who collaborate in real-time. This role will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our business and help establish Lineage as an innovative global market leader in this space.

A successful candidate should be an intrepid, curious, experienced supply chain professional with structured discovery and requirements definition methods and skillsets. He/she will have the ability to manage problems and business requirements of a broad array of supply chain and logistics stakeholders with both enthusiasm and empathy. The candidate should possess well-developed written communication skills and have a relentless focus on providing clear, concise problem-oriented specifications and user stories for ready action by technical and functional teams. Lineage is constantly growing and therefore is a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and a significant emphasis on innovation. Consequently, this individual should possess a strong sense of prioritization and decision-making skills that enable him/her to address the most pressing, persistent and priority problems for the greatest benefit to the Logistics and Scheduling features of the Customer Experience Platform.

Product Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and enable the strategic vision for the customer visibility platform
  • Understand business market needs for all supply chain and logistics stakeholders
  • Validate the requirement gathering process and the translation of functionality to user stories
  • Continue to drive innovation through this product and determine how Lineage can continue to expand the value curve
  • Effectively prioritize and communicate written specifications to the development team(s)
  • Coordinate with UI/UX team, data team, and development team
  • Collaborate with geographically diverse agile development teams to execute on feature definition and development
  • Contribute to one of the top strategic IT initiatives within the company
  • Up to 30% travel will be required, CDC guidelines permitting

Product Manager Qualifications
  • 3-5 years previous experience as a product manager on enterprise scale Supply Chain and/or Transportation software initiatives (Oracle, JDE, SAP, Infor, or similar)
  • 2-3 years previous experience working inside of a 3PL warehousing or logistics business using related enterprise scale systems
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables, work products and communication of progress in large organizations
  • Established skills and abilities of a product manager such as writing specifications, user stories, maintaining and prioritizing backlog, and validating delivered features to original design
  • In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, technical understanding of product delivery, and up to date on industry standards for mobile application UX
  • Working knowledge of software development process
  • Comfortable working with and influencing remote and/or distributed teams
  • Experienced with workflow and exception management software UX design
  • Relentless attention to quality product outcomes and usability
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Educational and Systems expertise
  • Bachelor's (BA or BS) in business, accounting, industrial operations, or related field; master's a plus
  • Business experience and/or educational background in supply chain, transportation, and logistics industry
  • Knowledge of traditional, large scale ERP systems application features through configuration and implementation (Oracle, JDE, Dynamics/365, SAP) Application modules including: Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Pricing, Materials Planning (MRP) and Product catalog
