Our client, a well-known organization in the Vancouver area, is seeking a Procurement Analyst on a temporary-to-hire basis. The hours for this role would be Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and prioritize procurement requests, formulate precise specifications for acquisitions, and ascertain available supply sources.
• Collaborate on procurement strategizing with agency departments, pinpointing essential goods and services vital for streamlined agency functioning.
• Determine the most suitable procurement approach/methodology, encompassing competitive bidding, sole-source acquisitions, bid proposal requests, or direct negotiations.
• Formulate and oversee sustainability initiatives, advocate for vendor diversity and outreach endeavors, and contribute to policy and procedural refinement efforts.
