Description

The Automation Engineer 2 identifies and implements solutions (hardware and software) for improvement of the high-quality automation infrastructure. The Automation Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking an Automation Engineer 2 that will:

  • Work directly with project subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other team mates to deliver Automation Anywhere based automations in Humana's Enterprise Information Protection Team. To accomplish this, the Automation Engineer 2 will be responsible for automation design, and documentation utilizing a Solution Design Document (SDD), and Architectural Design Document (ADD).
  • Work closely with senior team members to build a test plan and get the test plans approved by project stakeholders.
  • Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
  • Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of technical experience
  • Function well in both the technical and non-technical worlds, and will have a high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Software QA testing multi-tier enterprise web applications
  • Strong experience with white-box, web-service integration and server back-end testing.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Software QA testing - process automation
  • Strong experience with process automation solutions (UIPath, Blue Prism, & Automation Anywhere).
  • Knowledge of programming languages (python, C#, JS, etc...) and design principles
  • Software development documentation (SDD, ADD, Test Plan)
  • Proficiency building collaborative relationships with team member, business partners and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated communication skills to translate software solutions to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft .NET Development, Azure Cloud, and DevOps
  • Experience with SQL
  • Cloud certifications
  • PowerBI experience
  • XML experience
Additional Information

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
