A Technology Service and Consulting Company is seeking a Printer Engineer in Burbank, CA

Role Description

The Printer Engineer is responsible for organization, inventory, removal, and deployment of Printers essential to the day-to-day operations.

The Printer Engineer provides priority response and resolution for all requested technology deployments and removals, and will enter, order, and sort inventory of the Network Printer storage facilities.

  • Troubleshooting/testing of network printers
  • Installs, Moves, Adds, and Changes (IMAC) of printers and consumables
  • Enter accurate inventory of Network Printer storage facilities
  • Test and document hardware issues of Network Printers
  • Set up shelving as needed
  • Transport printer hardware across our campuses
  • Document and report on all work performed
  • Acquire, stage, and deploy, printers, and peripherals
  • Produce verbal and written status reports with emphasis on high-profile issues
  • Adhere to company and business unit policies and standards
  • Establish and maintain relationships with service providers, manufacturers, and contractors

  • Lift, carry and transport computer and printer equipment
  • HP Network Printer OEM Certification, Windows 7, Windows 10, Mac OS, Active Directory, Video Conferencing, TCP/IP networking, wireless and mobile networking, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and Office 365 cloud), Helpdesk ticketing systems (i.e. ServiceNow), network printing
DAILY TASKS
  • Request Fulfillment on Service-Now platform
  • Inventory management of Printer Warehouse
  • Check and handle compliance and access issues
  • Check and handle compliance and administrative tasks
o Profile compliance
o Mandatory classes/Compliance course status
o Performance reviews
o Timesheets
  • Check for any upcoming changes and announcements
  • Complete all scheduled removals/deployments as scheduled by leadership while maintaining work notes in Service-Now platform
