ZS's Corporate Enterprise Functions operate the firm's core internal functions. Finance is responsible for all ZS financial matters, including financial planning, analysis, reporting, accounts receivable, general ledger and tax.

PRICING & STRATEGIC DEALS SPECIALIST

We seek a Finance Professional who will work with our Strategic Deals Group to support ZS leaders in winning and retaining large, complex, or strategic deals with clients. Candidates should have previous experience building/manipulating user-friendly Excel solutions that include features such as client costing, billing rates, margin analysis, etc. as well as advanced technical skills including VBA and MS Access. An ideal candidate will possess IT curiosity, a strong background in finance, and a general understanding of contracts. Reporting to a Finance Manager, this role will help us develop future projections and apply analytical and commercial skills to help improve profitability across our business.

Responsibilities:

• Create and refine pricing models for large/complex solutions;
• Provide input on profitability levers of pricing models;
• Support and advise senior stakeholders on commercial analysis and financial performance;
• Work with technology team on ongoing enhancements of tool;
• Provide financial analysis to support senior leaders of our regions, business units, and corporate functions;
• Identify and resolve any financial issues related to company operations;
• Conduct proactive analysis on our business and identify opportunities for commercial improvement;
• Provide reporting on our financial status and outlook;
• Identify financial risks/issues and provide practical advice to help leadership address them;
• Effectively engage with colleagues at all levels within ZS;
• Increase awareness of good financial management practices across the firm.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in Finance or closely related field, advanced degree welcomed;
• 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis, supporting internal business units or stakeholders;
• Advanced Microsoft Office experience, including VBA for Access and Excel
• Experience in building and/or refining models/solutions
• Experience in building rate cards preferred
• General understanding of contracts, preferrably from the seller's viewpoint;
• Ability to communicate financial and technical information in a way that is easy for business leaders to understand;
• Ability to work closely with senior leaders while retaining objective and professional finance perspective;
• Judgment to know when to challenge something and when to lend support;
• High motivation, strong work ethic and personal initiative;
