NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Post-Production Editor based in Charlotte, NC.

The Post-Production Editor is responsible for editing and enhancing video footage for assigned projects in preparation for broadcast.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Use skill, talent and knowledge of post-production best practices to edit entire shows and show pieces for broadcasting
• Combine studio, archival and field elements to produce edited shows and projects
• Complete graphics and color correction for shows and projects
• Deliver completed projects within established deadlines while meeting established quality standards
• Adequately back-up and maintain data of projects

Required skills / experience:

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or technical school and five (5) years of Post-Production experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced using Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop. Adobe Illustrator and Davinci Color experience is preferred.
• Proficient on company provided hardware and software, including Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency on post-production software including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe SpeedGrade, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity, etc in visual story telling
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Able to work a flexible work schedule as needed, including outside of normal business hours, in order to meet tight deadlines
